Arizona lawmakers voted to repeal a civil war-era law that bans nearly all abortions. This comes just weeks after the state Supreme Court revived the law and thrust the abortion debate into the political spotlight. The state’s 15-week abortion ban will remain law.

Columbia University called in the NYPD to arrest anti-Israel protesters occupying a historic campus building. After police arrested over a hundred people, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said that “outside agitators” were involved in the protests.
