Humans Will Continue to Type Transcripts for Courts: Court Reporter

There’s a shortage of professionals who, in real-time, type transcripts of court proceedings, creating the record on which future proceedings in the case rely. NTD spoke with two such professionals, known as court reporters, or stenographers, about the dearth of manpower in this lucrative field.
