Paused US Ammunition Shipment to Israel ‘Impacts Potential Defensive Measures on the Northern Border’: Analyst

Hostage and ceasefire talks in Cairo are back underway. Israel says the Hamas terrorist group’s demands are far from what would be required to reach a deal. The proposed deal includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza strip. Israel’s defense minister says a military operation in Rafah will continue until Hamas is eliminated, or until the first hostages return.

He said the pause in supply was troubling “because it also impacts potential defensive measures on the Northern border. Hezbollah has not been shy about intervening in this conflict.”
